For this reason we offer a discounted holiday to accompanying guests who are not riding. There is plenty for them to do from the high alpine walks to taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car up the Mont Blanc.

The chalet is only twelve minutes walk form Chamonix's sports centre. Here you will find in and outdoor swiming pools, gym facilities and plenty of places to sun bathe, relax and take in the view. For the more adventurous, paragliding, rock climbing and rafting are all very popular in the valley and can be easily arranged.

For a bit of fun many guests go on the summer luge and then experience being up in the trees at the Parc de Adventure. Both of these are very close to town and provide a great laugh for adults as well as older kids.

Chamonix attracts many visitors each year purely on the quality of it's hiking . If your significant other prefers to hike rather than bike, you can make a great case for coming to Chamonix. There are classic walks to places like Lac Blanc, Col du Balme (a secluded refuge just in Switzerland), and Chalet Floria. With the lift access getting you higher quickier, there are some spectacular views.

Another popular attraction is a cog railway to the Mer de Glace glacier. Inside the glacier there are ice scuptures and a chance to see inside one of the most powerful forces of nature.
